UPDATE: Final testing of of our new subscription infrastructure is not quite complete, so we are adjusting our plans to introduce adjusted rates on July 1st. We will have more information on the timing of our new subscription rate deployment in the near future, in order to give you time to plan, but we expect these adjustments to not take place within the next few weeks.
On July 1st, 2026, we will introduce an adjusted set of rates for 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month subscription plans. Our current 1-month subscription rate ($14.99) will not change. All existing subscribers from June 30th, 2026 or prior will continue their subscriptions at their existing rates through at least December 31, 2027. Get more information on LOTRO.com.

UPDATE: All game worlds have reopened.
The LOTRO game worlds will be unavailable on Wednesday, July 1st 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Eastern (-4 GMT) to release Update 48.8. Find the release notes on LOTRO.com. Thank you for your patience and we will see you back in the game soon.
